ขั้นที่ 1 Warm up












นำเข้าสู่บทเรียนด้วยการให้นักเรียนเขียนตาราง 9 ช่องลงในกระดาษ 1 แผ่น จากนั้นให้นักเรียนวาดภาพกีฬาหรืออุปกรณ์ที่ใช้เล่นกีฬาดังกล่าวลงในช่องทั้ง 9 ให้ครบ โดยกีฬาดังกล่าวจะต้องเป็นกีฬาที่นักเรียนได้เรียนมาแล้วใน Unit 1 นี้ ครูแนะนำให้นักเรียนวาดภาพให้ชัดเจน เช่น กีฬาโปโลน้ำ กับว่ายน้ำ ต้องทำให้ชัดเจน เสร็จแล้วครูให้นักเรียนเขียนชื่อของตนเองด้านหลังของกระดาษ แล้วให้นักเรียนรวบรวมกระดาษมาส่งครู
ครูนำกระดาษที่ได้มาคละกัน แล้วแจกนักเรียนใหม่อีกครั้ง ไม่ให้เจ้าของได้กระดาษของตนเอง แล้วบอกนักเรียนว่า จะให้นักเรียนเล่นเกม Bingo
โดยครูพูดบอกคำศัพท์ชื่อกีฬาทีละคำ แล้วให้นักเรียนที่มีภาพกีฬาดังกล่าวในตาราง Bingo ของตนเอง ทำเครื่องหมาย x ทับภาพดังกล่าว นักเรียนคนใดที่กากบาทภาพได้ติดกัน 3 ภาพในแนวใด
ก็ได้ ให้ตะโกนว่า Bingo และพูดคำศัพท์ที่นักเรียนกากบาทให้เพื่อนๆ ฟัง เพื่อให้เพื่อนๆ ตรวจความถูกต้อง

ขั้นที่ 2 Pre-speaking
 กิจกรรมนี้เป็นกิจกรรมที่มีรูปแบบเดียวกันกับข้อสอบ Listening Part 1 ของ Cambridge KET (Key English Test) ซึ่งเป็นการสอบวัดระดับความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในระดับสากล
1. ครูอธิบายภาระงานในหนังสือเรียน หน้า 12 Ex. 1 ว่านักเรียนจะได้ฟังบทสนทนาสั้นๆ 4 บท ซึ่ง แต่ละบทจะมีภาพประกอบ 3 ภาพ นักเรียนจะได้ฟังบทสนทนาแต่ละบท 2 ครั้ง และระบุภาพที่สัมพันธ์กับบทสนทนาที่ได้ฟัง
ในการเตรียมตัวสำหรับการฟัง ให้นักเรียนดูภาพและพูดบรรยายภาพเหล่านี้ทีละภาพ เช่น
