ลักษณะทั่วไปของเกาะยังคงสภาพความเป็นธรรมชาติ โดยมีภูเขาและที่ราบสันเขาซึ่งเป็นต้นกำเนิด ลำธาร สายน้ำ ทำให้เกาะกูดมีน้ำตกหลายแห่ง แต่ที่ขึ้นชื่อบนเกาะกูด คือน้ำตกคลองเจ้า จะมีน้ำไหลตลอดทั้งปี มีทั้งหมด 3 ชั้น โดยชั้นบนจะมีลักษณะเป็นลำธาร ส่วนชั้นล่างเป็นลำธารจากน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งเหมาะแก่การเล่นน้ำอย่างมาก
