โครงการฟื้นฟูอาหารช้างป่าภูหลวงอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ

กรอบแนวคิดการพัฒนา :
1. แผนงานเสริมสร้างแหล่งน้ำ และแหล่งอาหารให้กับสัตว์ป่าในพื้นที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าภูหลวงโดยการปลูกและบำรุงพืชอาหารช้าง จัดทำแหล่งน้ำให้กับสัตว์ป่า โดยการจัดทำฝายชะลอความชุ่มชื้น (Check dam) แบบต่างๆ จัดทำโป่งเทียมเพื่อเพิ่มแหล่งเกลือแร่ให้กับสัตว์ป่า
2. แผนงานอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ โดยการประชาสัมพันธ์สร้างจิตสำนึกให้กับประชาชน นิสิต นักศึกษา เยาวชน ให้ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของพื้นที่ป่า ซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนบ้านของสัตว์ป่าและจัดทำค่ายศึกษาธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อเป็นแหล่งศึกษาธรรมชาติ ห้องเรียนธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดเลย
