โครงงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรังปรุงกระบวนการประกอบชิ้นส่วนเครื่องปรับอากาศแบบแยกส่วน (split type) เพื่อให้มีประสิทธภาพการทำงานเพิ่มขึ้นและตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของแผนกประกอบเครื่องปรับอากาศ โดยทำการศึกษาวิเคราะห์กระบวนการทำงาน (Flow process chart) และแผนภาพการไหล (Flow diagram) ได้ทำการออกแบบและปรับปรุง สถานที่ปฎิบัติงานและเครื่องมืออุปกรณ์ที่ช่วยในการทำงาน ส่งผลให้เวลาการประกอบชิ้นส่วนเครื่องปรับอากาศ Front panel ลดลง จากเดิม 3.96 นาที เหลือ 2.69 นาที ทำให้อัตราการผลิตเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดิม 323 ชิ้นต่อวัน เพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 412 ชิ้นต่อวัน
