กลวิธีช่วยจำและการกระตุ้นประสบการณ์เดิมเป็นเทคนิคที่จะสามารถช่วยให้ผู้อ่านเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมาย
(1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลทดสอบคำศัพท์ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนกลุ่มการใช้กลวิธีช่วยจำกับกลุ่มไม่ใช้กลวิธีช่วยจำ
(2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลทดสอบคำศัพท์หลังเรียนระหว่างกลุ่มการใช้กลวิธีช่วยจำกับกลุ่มไม่ใช้กลวิธีช่วยจำ
(3) เพื่อศึกษาผลการใช้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีช่วยจำ
เครื่องมือที่ใช้การศึกษา ได้แก่
(1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้จำนวน 4 แผน
(2) แบบทดสอบคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและ t-test
