วัดทักซัง หรือวัดรังเสือ (Tiger's Nest in Bhutan) เป็นวัดพุทธที่มีความเก่าแก่ที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในภูฏาน โดยถูกสร้างขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1962 จุดเด่นอยู่ที่ตัววัดนั้นตั้งอยู่ริมผาซึ่งมีความสูงกว่า 900 เมตร ในเขตปาโร ด้วยความสูงเทียมฟ้าเช่นนี้เองทำให้วัดนั้นอยู่ท่ามกลางเมฆหมอกสีขาวที่ล้อมรอบวัด อีกทั้งยังสามารถชมวิวสวย ๆ ด้านล่างได้อย่างชัดเจนในวันที่ท้องฟ้าโปร่ง โดยเฉพาะในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ผลิที่หมู่มวลดอกไม้ต่างพากันชูช่อสวยงาม

ด้านประวัติความเป็นมานั้น มีตำนานเล่าว่า ก่อนพื้นที่บริเวณนี้จะถูกสร้างเป็นวัดนั้นมี คุรุรินโปเซ (Guru Rinpoche) ซึ่งสามารถจำแลงกายเป็นเสือได้มาอาศัยอยู่ในถ้ำแห่งนี้ ครั้นจะเทศนาสั่งสอนผู้คนท่านจะกลายร่างเป็นมนุษย์เช่นเดิม และเมื่อคำสอนได้ผลผู้คนต่างพากันเสื่อมใสในพระพุทธศาสนา จึงทำให้สถานที่นี้กลายเป็นสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ต่อมาจึงได้มีการสร้างวิหารขึ้นเพื่อแสดงถึงความนิยมด้านพระพุทธศาสนา และเมื่อเวลาผ่านไปเนิ่นนานทำให้ตัววิหารชำรุดทรุดโทรม จนท้ายที่สุดในปี ค.ศ. 1962 จึงมีการสร้างวัดทักซังหรือวัดรังเสือขึ้นมา และได้ทำการบูรณปฏิสังขรณ์ครั้งใหญ่ในปี ค.ศ. 1998 จากเหตุเพลิงไหม้ ด้วยเหตุนี้เองที่ทำให้สมบัติล้ำค่าทางพระพุทธศาสนาและทางประวัติศาสตร์ได้มอดไหม้ไปด้วย
