วันหนึ่งฉันและเพื่อนกลับหอพักในเวลาที่ดึกกว่าปกติพวกเราเดินขึ้นบันไดมายังชั้นสามซึ่งบันไดนั้นอยู่ตรงกับห้อง 304 พอดี เราจึงต้องเดินผ่านห้องนั้น แต่มันแปลกพวกเราเห็นประตูห้องนั้นเปิดอยู่ เป็นไปไม่ได้!! พวกเราไม่เคยเห็นใครย้ายเข้ามาอยู่ พวกเราตกใจแต่ก็คิดว่าเจ้าของหอคงให้ใครสักคนเช้าโดยที่เรายังไม่รู้ และเจ้าของห้องคงลืมปิดประตู
หลังจากคืนนั้นก็เกิดเรื่องแปลกๆขึ้น คือ ทุกๆ6.00เช้า พวกเราจะได้ยินสียงเคาะที่ผนังห้องที่ติดกับห้อง 304 ทุกวัน เสียงมันดังมากๆ และทุกครั้งที่เดินผ่านห้อง 304 ประตูก็จะปิดสนิทตลอดเราไม่เคยเห็นเจ้าของห้องเลย เสียงเคาะดังขึ้นๆเรื่อยๆทุกวันจนพวกเราทนไม่ไหว ติดต่อบอกกับเจ้าของหอพักเรื่องห้อง 304 แต่เจ้าของหอพักกลับบอกว่าห้อง 304 ปิดตายไม่ได้เปิดให้ใครเช้ามา 5 ปีแล้ว ดังนั้นมันเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่จะมีเสียงเคาะเพราะห้องนั้นไม่มีใครอยู่ พวกเราไม่เชื่อ เจ้าของหอพักจึงพาเราเข้าไปดูที่ห้อง 304 ปรากฏว่าทั้งห้อง “ว่างเปล่า มีใครอยู่เลยจริงๆ”
