การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1. เพื่อศึกษาระดับประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ กองบังคับการตำรวจจราจร 2. เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการปฏิบัติงานของของเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ กองบังคับการตำรวจจราจร โดยทำการศึกษา ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจกองบังคับการตำรวจจราจร ในด้านการจัดระบบในองค์กร ด้านการปฏิบัติงานในหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ และ ด้านการพัฒนาบุคลากร กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ กองบังคับการตำรวจจราจร จำนวน 80 นาย เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยแบบสำรวจ (Survey Research) เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาวิจัย และใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญ (Accidental Sampling) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ใช้วิเคราะห์และอธิบายระดับความสัมพันธ์ และการหาค่าความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยต่าง ๆ กับประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานฯ โดยใช้การหาค่าไค-สแแควร์ (Chi-Square) กำหนดค่านัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
