การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาการบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนา การบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน โดยศึกษาใน 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านการบริหารจัดการสถานศึกษา ด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาผู้เรียน และด้านพัฒนาบุคลากรสถานศึกษา กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา คณะครู และคณะกรรมการสถานศึกษา รวมจำนวน 15 คน ทำการรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสารการสังเกต การสัมภาษณ์ และการประชุมสนทนากลุ่ม ผู้วิจัยได้แยกแยะข้อมูลให้เป็นหมวดหมู่ และทำการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนาด้วยวิธีบรรยาย และอภิปราย
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า สภาพและปัญหาการบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน ด้านการบริหารจัดการสถานศึกษา ได้กำหนดนโยบายโดยจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติงาน พบปัญหาขาดการนิเทศ ติดตาม ชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมน้อย ด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน มีการจัดทำหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน โดยการบูรณาการสู่การจัดการเรียนการสอน พบปัญหาการมุ่งผลสัมฤทธิ์มากเกินไป เวลาไม่เพียงพอ ขาดสื่อ อุปกรณ์และงบประมาณที่เพียงพอ ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาผู้เรียน จัดให้มีการแนะแนว ระบบดูแลช่วยเหลือผู้เรียน กิจกรรมลูกเสือ เนตรนารี ชุมนุม และกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมและสาธารณะประโยชน์ พบปัญหาขาดความต่อเนื่องในการจัดกิจกรรม ด้านพัฒนาบุคลากรสถานศึกษา บุคลากรได้มีการพัฒนาตนเอง โดยการฝึกอบรมสัมมนาเป็นบางครั้ง สามารถนำไปปฏิบัติตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง พบปัญหาบุคลากรขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงอย่างแท้จริง มีภาระงานมาก ไม่มีวิทยากรที่มีความรู้ความสามารถโดยตรง ส่วนแนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน ด้านการบริหารจัดการสถานศึกษาควรมีการติดตามการดำเนินงานหรือมีแบบประเมินก่อนหลัง ควรมีแผนการนิเทศให้เป็นรูปธรรม ดำเนินงานให้ต่อเนื่อง ด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน ควรจัดทำหน่วยการเรียนรู้ปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงที่เน้นกระบวนการคิดวิเคราะห์ชัดเจน บูรณาการทุกกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ สอดคล้องกับท้องถิ่น ระดมปัจจัยความช่วยเหลือจากคณะครู ผู้ปกครอง ชุมชน ท้องถิ่น ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาผู้เรียน ส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนได้ศึกษาแหล่งเรียนรู้จากสถานที่จริงโดยการแทรกเข้าในกิจกรรมลูกเสือ เนตรนารี และด้านพัฒนาบุคลากรสถานศึกษา ส่งเสริมบุคลากรอบรม ศึกษาดูงานเกี่ยวกับการนำปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงไปใช้ในสถานศึกษา
