การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาสภาพปัญหาด้านจิตสาธารณะ ของนักเรียนโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ โรงเรียนศรีบัวบานวิทยาคม อำเภอเมืองนครพนม จังหวัดนครพนม (2) พัฒนานักเรียนด้านจิตสาธารณะของนักเรียนโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ โรงเรียนศรีบัวบานวิทยาคม อำเภอเมืองนครพนม จังหวัดนครพนม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนศรีบัวบานวิทยาคม ปีการศึกษา 2559 จำนวน 40 คน โดยได้มาซึ่งกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้เป็นแบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) แบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ
