ที่ดินในโครงการฯ รวม ๓ แปลง มีเนื้อที่รวมทั้งสิ้น ๑๓๐ ไร่ ๑ งาน ๕๕.๘ ตารางวา



แปลงที่ ๑ ท่านผู้หญิงYosavadee Buranasamridumpornpaisan น้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายที่ดิน เนื้อที่ ๕๐-๒-73 ไร่ โอนกรรมสิทธิ์เมื่อวันที่ ๒๐ สิงหาคม ๒๕๓๙



แปลงที่ ๒ ซื้อจากนางNichaya Deesoongnern เนื้อที่ ๓๑-๓-๒๐ ไร่ โอนกรรมสิทธิ์เมื่อวันที่ ๖ สิงหาคม ๒๕๔๐





แปลงที่ ๓ ซื้อจากบริษัท ๘๔ จำกัด (ในเครือทรัพย์สินส่วนพระมหากษัตริย์) เนื้อที่ ๔๗-๓-๖๒.๘ ไร่ โอนกรรมสิทธิ์เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ กันยายน ๒๕๔๐



พระราชดำริ

แปลงที่ ๑ ให้ใช้วิธีการทางธรรมชาติในการแก้ไขปัญหาดินเปรี้ยว โดยขุดสระ ลงตรงกลางพื้นที่และใช้วิธีถ่ายเทน้ำเปรี้ยวจากสระ ๑ ไปยังสระ ๒ เพื่อทดสอบว่าความเปรี้ยว จะลดลงหรือไม่ ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ ๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๔๔ ได้พระราชทานพระราชดำริเพิ่มเติมให้ใช้ปูนมาร์ล ปรับสภาพน้ำเพียงเล็กน้อย แล้วใส่ยูเรียเพื่อให้เกิดสาหร่าย ซึ่งจะสามารถปรับสภาพน้ำให้ดีขึ้น



แปลงที่ ๒ ให้จัดทำเป็นรูปแบบทฤษฎีใหม่ จำนวน ๓ แปลง เพื่อเป็นตัวอย่างแก่ราษฎร



แปลงที่ ๓ ให้ดำเนินการจัดทำเป็นศูนย์ฝึกอาชีพแก่ราษฎร ต่อมาในปี ๒๕๔๒ ได้พระราชทานพระราชดำริให้มูลนิธิชัยพัฒนาดำเนินการศึกษาผลกระทบของการใช้เถ้าลอยลิกไนท์ เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาดินเปรี้ยว

ผลการดำเนินงาน

๑. สระ ๑ และ ๒ เนื่องจากไม่ได้รับพระราชดำริให้เปลี่ยนแปลงวิธีการ ดังนั้นจึงรักษาไว้ให้เป็นตามสภาพธรรมชาติ ผลการตรวจสอบสภาพน้ำพบว่าน้ำยังเป็นกรดจัดเหมือนเดิม ค่า pH ของสระที่ ๑ และ ๒ มีค่าผันแปรอยู่ในระดับประมาณ ๒.๘ - ๓.๓ และทั้ง ๒ สระ ยังไม่มีพืชน้ำชนิดใดขึ้นยกเว้น กกทรงกระเทียม
๒. แปลงไม้ผลยกร่องด้านทิศตะวันออกของสระที่ ๑ ซึ่งเป็นการทดลองปลูกไม้ผล โดยไม่ใช้วัสดุปูน และมีการยกร่องโดยวิธีพิเศษ (ไม่เอาดินล่างมาทับดินบน) ปัจจุบันปลูกไม้ผลไปแล้วจำนวน ๔๘๑ ต้น
๓. ปลูกพืชผักสวนครัวเพื่อทดสอบว่าจะทนความเปรี้ยวได้หรือไม่ โดยไม่ใช้วัสดุปูน พืชผักต่างๆ ที่ปลูกได้แก่ ผักคะน้า ได้ผลผลิต ๑๒๔ กก. ผักกาดขาวลุ้ย ได้ผลผลิต ๗๙ กก. กวางตุ้ง ได้ผลผลิต ๓๗ กก. สำหรับแปลงแก้วมังกรได้เอาออก เนื่องจากการเจริญเติบโตไม่ดี และได้ปรับปรุงให้เป็นแปลงนา สำหรับปลูกข้าวในปี ๒๕๕๔ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการปลูกสับปะรดพันธุ์ปัตตาเวีย จำนวน ๑,๑๕๐ ต้น สับปะรดเพิ่งจะเริ่มให้ผลผลิต
๔. แปลงทดลองปลูกข้าวทนดินเปรี้ยวโดยไม่ใช้วัสดุปูน
๕. โครงการจัดทำผลิตภัณฑ์จากกก เนื่องจากกกเป็นวัสดุท้องถิ่นที่ขึ้นได้ดีในดินเปรี้ยว จึงได้จัดทำแปลงสำหรับปลูกกกและนำมาแปรรูปเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ ได้แก่ ทอเสื่อกกได้จำนวน ๕๐๐ ผืน ทอเสื่อกกประดิษฐ์ได้จำนวน ๓๐๐ ผืน รวมทั้งจัดทำผลิตภัณฑ์แปรรูปจากเสื่อกกจำนวน ๑,๕๐๐ ชิ้น ได้แก่ เสื่อพับ กล่องทิชชูกระเป๋า รองเท้า ที่ใส่ปากกา กล่องอเนกประสงค์ หมวก ซองจดหมาย ตะกร้า ถังผง และกล่องดินสอ เป็นต้น
๖. กิจกรรมอื่นๆ ผู้เข้ามาเยี่ยมชม จำนวน ๕๐๑ ราย เป็นชาวไทย ๔๙๘ ราย และ ชาวต่างประเทศ ๓ ราย รวมทั้งมีบริษัทด้านการโฆษณาและประชาสัมพันธ์มาถ่ายทำภาพยนตร์ เพื่อออกรายการโทรทัศน์ จำนวน ๒ เรื่อง
การดำเนินงานที่ผ่านมา พบว่ามีพืชหลายชนิดที่สามารถขึ้นได้ดีในพื้นที่ดินเปรี้ยว โดยไม่ต้องใช้วัสดุปูนในการปรับปรุงดิน ทั้งนี้อยู่ระหว่างการรอดูผลผลิตที่เกิดขึ้นว่าจะมีผลตอบแทนทางเศรษฐกิจที่คุ้มค่าหรือไม่ ประกอบด้วย ไม้ผล เช่น มะม่วง ขนุน ฝรั่ง และเสาวรส และไม้ใช้สอย เช่น ยางนา ตะเคียน กระถินเทพา และเสม็ด



การดำเนินงานในระยะต่อไป
