การวิจัยเรื่องการการพัฒนาพื้นที่สีเขียวเขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย กรุงเทพมหานคร การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์
1)เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพของพื้นที่สีเขียวในเขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่ายและพื้นที่สีเขียวในชุมชน 2)เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพื้นที่สีเขียวในชุมชนเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม 3)เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีชุมชนเขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย โดยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจและสังเกต ซึ่งเครื่องมือที่ใช้คือแบบสำรวจสังเกตโดยทำการสำรวจภาคสนามในพื้นที่เขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่ายมีขนาดพื้นที่ 1.931 ตร.กม. มีจำนวน 5 แขวง ใช้แบบสอบถามในการสำรวจ 150 ชุด และนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงอธิบาย
ผลการสำรวจพบว่า ภายในพื้นที่เขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย เป็นเขตที่มีประชากรต่อพื้นที่หนาแน่นที่สุดเมื่อเทียบกับพื้นที่เขตอื่นๆในกรุงเทพมหานคร และมีความหลากหลายทางด้านกิจกรรม แต่พบว่าภายในเขตยังประสบปัญหาขาดพื้นที่สีเขียวหรือสวนสาธารณะเพื่อรองรับกับความต้องการของประชาชนในพื้นที่เขต ประชาชนภายในเขตยังต้องออกไปใช้พื้นที่สีเขียวหรือสวนสาธารณะอื่นนอกเขต จากสภาพปัญหาที่สำรวจพบจึงนำมาสู่การเสนอแนวทางเพื่อจัดสรรให้เกิดพื้นที่สีเขียวขึ้นภายในเขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย เพื่อรองรับกับความต้องการของประชาชนภายในเขต ให้มีพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจเสริมสร้างสภาวะที่ดีทางด้านร่างกายและจิตใจของประชาชนภายในเขต และเป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาพื้นที่สีเขียวในเขตอื่นภายในกรุงเทพมหานครต่อไป
