การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหาแรงงานของโครงการก่อสร้างขนาดใหญ่เพื่อหาแนวทางเสนอแนะในการแก้ไขปัญหาแรงงานในโครงการก่อสร้าง เสนอแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาการจัดการแรงงานในโครงการก่อสร้าง กลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็น ผู้จัดการโครงการ วิศวกร จำนวน 30 คน ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล ซึ่งเป็นโครงการอาคารขนานใหญ่ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามและการสังเกตุการ
ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า ปัญหาขาดแคลนแรงงานในโครงการก่อสร้างมีระดับความรุนแรงของปัญหาอยู่ในระดับมาก ปัญหาแรงงานทำงานไม่ได้คุณภาพตามมาตรฐานที่ตั้งไว้มีระดับความรุนแรงของปัญหาอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ปัญหาแรงงานขาดความตั้งใจในการทำงานมีระดับความรุนแรงของปัญหาอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง กล่าวโดยสรุปปัญหาการจัดการแรงงานในโครงการก่อสร้างที่พบส่วนใหญ่จะพบว่ามีปัญหาในเรื่องของการขาดแคลนแรงงานและแรงงานไม่มีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งปัญหาเหล่านี้มีหลายปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ทำให้เกิดปัญหา รวมทั้งยังเกี่ยวโยงถึงสภาพการจัดการแรงงานของแต่ละโครงการนั้นๆด้วย
