การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา (descriptive research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้ของผู้รับบริการต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลอย่างเอื้ออาทรของนักศึกษาพยาบาล กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ เป็นผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการดูแลจากนักศึกษาพยาบาล ชั้นปีที่ 3รุ่นที่ 58 วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี นครราชสีมา ที่ขึ้นฝึกภาคปฎิบัติวิชา มารดา ทารกและการผดุงครรภ์ 1 แผนกสูติกรรม โรงพยาบาลมหาราช นครราชสีมา จำนวน 64 คน โดยเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง
