ก่อนที่ผมจะได้มาเข้าโรงเรียนนี้ ผมคิดว่า “โรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญเเห่งนี้ คงไม่ต่างอะไรกับโรงเรียนทั่วไปที่ผมเคยเรียนมาก่อน” แต่เมื่อผมได้มานั่งเรียน เล่น กินกับเพื่อนๆ ในโรงเรียนนี้ ผมก็เริ่มมีความรู้สึกผูกพัน อาจจะเป็นเพราะเวลาที่ผ่านเลยไป ทำให้ผมชินกับการอยู่โรงเรียนนี้เหมือนโรงเรียนอื่นๆ แต่แล้วผมก็สังเกตได้ว่าโรงเรียนมีอะไรที่ซ่อนเร้นหลายๆ อย่าง ที่ทำให้ผมรู้สึกผูกพันเป็นอย่างมาก ผมได้รู้ว่าโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญแห่งนี้ให้อะไรกับผมหลายอย่าง ในเรื่องความเข้มของวิชาการ ความรู้ที่ผมสามารถใช้แข่งกับนักเรียนโรงเรียนอื่นได้ โดยมีรุ่นพี่ศิษย์เก่าที่ได้สร้างชื่อเสียงไว้มากมาย เป็นเครื่องการันตีได้อย่างแท้แน่นอน และสิ่งสำคัญที่สุดก็คือกิจกรรมการเชียร์ และแปรอักษรที่ผมได้มีส่วนร่วมในการแปรอักษร ผมได้ฝึกซ้อมอยู่หลายครั้งกับเพื่อน ได้นั่งตากแดดทนร้อนด้วยกัน ตากฝน หิวน้ำ ร้อน เมื่อย ร่วมกันทั้งนั้น และเพื่อนๆ ของผมนั้นก็ต่างร่วมกันเชียร์อย่างเต็มที่ ไม่มีใครเอาเปรียบใคร
