Taiwan’s CPC to restart its steam cracker at Linyuan
According to market sources, Taiwan’s CPC is planning to restart its No.4 naphtha-based steam cracker at Linyuan by the end of this month. The company shut the cracker on December 11 for a turnaround which was expected to last around 55 days.
The cracker was initially expected to restart in early February.
The No.4 cracker can produce 380,000 tons/year of ethylene and 193,000 tons/year of propylene.
