บทที่ 1 บทนำ

ที่มาเเละความสำคัญ
ยุงเป็นพาหะนำโรคต่าง ๆ ที่เป็นอันตรายต่อมนุษย์ เช่น โรคไข้เลือดออก โรคไข้มาลาเรีย เป็นต้น จึงได้มีผู้คิดค้นสิ่งที่สามารถช่วยในการกำจัดและป้องกัน เช่น ครีมทางกันยุง ยาฉีดกันยุง เป็นต้น ซึ่งสิ่งเหล่านี้อาจจะเกิดอันตรายต่อผู้บริโภคเมื่อใช้ในปริมาณที่มากเกินไปอันเนื่องมาจากสิ่งเหล่านี้อาจจะมีสารเคมีเป็นส่วนผสมอยู่ ซึ่งอาจทำให้ผู้บริโภคเกิดอาการแพ้ได้ในเวลาต่อมา คณะผู้จัดทำจึงได้มองเห็นปัญหานี้และได้คิดหาวิธีแนวทางแก้ไขจึงได้มีการทำโครงงานเรื่อง เทียนหอมสมุนไพรไล่ยุง เพื่อเป็นการป้องกันยุงอันนำไปสู่โรคภัยได้
วัตถุประสงค์

1. เพื่อเป็นการศึกษาหาสมุนไพรที่สามารถใช้ป้องกันยุงได้
2. เพื่อเป็นการนำสมุนไพรมาประยุกต์ใช้ได้
3. เพื่อทำเทียนหอมตะไคร้ในการใช้ป้องกันยุง
4. เพื่อให้เกิดความสามัคคีในหมู่คณะ
5. เพื่อให้เกิดความคิดจินตนาการอย่างสร้างสรรค์และการระดมความคิด (brainstorm) ภายในกลุ่ม
ขอบเขตของการศึกษาค้นคว้า
คณะผู้จัดทำเห็นว่าต้องการที่จะศึกษาเฉพาะเทียนหอมที่ทำจากพาราฟินที่หลอมเหลวผสมกับใบตะไคร้ที่ตากแห้ง เท่านั้น

บทที่ 5 สรุปผลการทำงาน

1. ตะไคร้นั้นถือได้ว่าเป็นพืชสมุนไพรชนิดหนึ่งที่หาได้ง่ายตามธรรมชาติ หรือในท้องถิ่น ชุมชน ซึ่งสรรพคุณของตะไคร้นั้นถือว่าใช้ประโยชน์ได้จากทุกส่วยของตะไคร้เลย เเละหนึ่งในสรรพคุณเหล่านั้นคือกลิ่นของตะไคร้เป็นกลิ่นที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ของยุง ทำให้ยุงจะไม่มาเข้าใกล้ในบริเวณที่มีกลิ่นตะไคร้
