การปฏิบัติตามมติของ คสช.ที่ให้พิจารณาแนวทางในการก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารภายในประเทศที่ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ
ตามที่ คสช.มีมติเมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2557 ให้พิจารณาแนวทางในการก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารภายในประเทศ ที่ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ (ทสภ.) ประกอบกับขณะนี้ ทอท.จำเป็นต้องชะลอการก่อสร้างโครงการพัฒนา ทสภ.ระยะที่ 2 เนื่องจากอยู่ในระหว่างรอผลการตรวจสอบจากคณะกรรมการติดตามและตรวจสอบการใช้จ่ายงบประมาณภาครัฐ (คตร.)นั้น
เนื่องจาก ทอท.เคยมีแผนที่จะดำเนินการก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารที่บริเวณทิศเหนือของอาคารเทียบเครื่องบิน A
