แนวคิดที่มาและความสำคัญ

เครื่องปั้นดินเผาเป็นงานหัตถกรรม ศิลปะที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นจากวัสดุที่เป็นดินเผานี้ไม่ว่าจะสร้างขึ้นเพื่อประโยชน์ใช้สอยหรือเพื่อความสะดวกในการดำรงชีพด้วยสภาพแวดล้อมทางภูมิศาสตร์ จนถึงความเชื่อถือ ศาสนา และประเพณีก็ตาม ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับชีวิตของมนุษย์มาโดยตลอดทุกยุคทุกสมัย มนุษย์นำเครื่องปั้นดินเผามาใช้ในด้านเครื่องใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน การก่อสร้าง ตลอดจนการใช้ประกอบในพิธีกรรมเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อต่างๆสิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นปัจจัยที่สำคัญที่ทำให้มนุษย์ได้ใช้ความคิด การสังเกต และรวบรวมเอาประสบการณ์ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ถ่ายทอดออกมาเป็นงานศิลปะในรูปของดินเผาอย่างที่ปรากฏให้เห็นอยู่จนทุกวันนี้
จากการศึกษาและสำรวจเกี่ยวกับอาชีพเครื่องปั้นดินเผา พบว่าอาชีพนี้มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งกับคนในท้องถิ่น โดยนอกจากจะเป็นข้าวของเครื่องใช้เพื่อความสะดวกสบายแล้ว ยังเป็นอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมไทยของเราให้คงอยู่ และยังใช้ในพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาอีกด้วย นี่จึงเป็นเหตุผลที่ทำให้ทางคณะผู้จัดทำโครงงานเรื่องนี้

วัตถุประสงค์
