ในพุทธศักราช 2558 ที่จะถึงนี้เป็นปีที่ประเทศ 10 ประเทศในอาเซียนต้องเตรียมพร้อมและรับมือเข้าสู่การดำรงชีวิตในกลุ่มอาเซียนซึ่งประกอบด้วย 10 ประเทศ คือ รูไน , กัมพูชา , อินโดนีเซีย , มาเลเซีย , ลาว , พม่า , ฟิลิปปินส์ , สิงคโปร์ , เวียดนามและไทย ความเป็นมาบของอาเซียนได้มีการลงนามเมื่อวันที่ 8 สิงหาคม 2510 โดยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศก่อตั้งสมาชิก 5 ประเทศ คือ อินโดนีเซีย , ฟิลิปปินส์ , มาเลเซีย , สิงคโปร์และไทย ต่อมาได้มีประเทศต่างๆเข้ามาร่วมเป็นสมาชิกเพิ่ม คือ บรูไน , เวียดนาม , ลาว , พม่าและกัมพูชชา ซึ่งปัจจุบันสมาชิกอาเซียนมีทั้งหมด 10 ประเทศและในฐานะที่ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งสมาชิกในอาเซียน รัฐบาลไทยได้ให้ความสำคัญในการเตรียมความพร้อมของประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องของภาษา ข้อมูลต่างๆของแต่ละประเทศและส่วนมากเรื่องที่มีความสำคัญที่สุดคือเรื่องเศรษฐกิจที่แต่ละประเทศให้ความสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก ดังนั้น เราทุกคนควรศึกษาเรื่องของสกุลเงินแต่ละประเทศให้ดี เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์แก่ตนเอง และเพื่อที่เราจะสามารถดำรงชีวิตในกลุ่มประชาคมอาเซียนได้อย่างง่ายและสะดวกสบาย
