พิพิธภัณฑสถานเมืองตราด จังหวัดตราด จัดตั้งขึ้นโดยสำนักพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ กรมศิลปากรกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม เพื่อเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ประวัติศาสตร์ วัฒนธรรม และวิถีชีวิตเมืองตราด และพิพิธภัณฑสถานประจำเมือง โดยใช้อาคารศาลากลางจังหวัดหลังเดิม ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนสันติสุข อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดตราด  มีพื้นที่ใช้สอย ๗๙๓ ตารางเมตร ห้องจัดแสดงนิทรรศการถาวร แบ่งออกเป็น ๗ หัวข้อ อาทิ ตลาดเมืองตราด การค้าในตลาดเก่าและสภาพปัจจุบันของตลาด, เหตุการณ์สำคัญในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๕ และผู้คนเมืองตราด จัดแสดงกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ เป็นต้น หากมีโอกาสเดินทางไปเที่ยวสามารถแวะชมพิพิธภัณฑสถานเมืองตราด เปิดให้เข้าชม  ตั้งแต่ เวลา ๐๙.๐๐ – ๑๖.๐๐ น. ทุกวัน หยุดทำการวันจันทร์
วัดคิรีวิหาร เดิมชื่อว่า วัดท่าเลื่อน หรือวัดภูเขายวน ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลท่าเลื่อน อำเภอเมือง  อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมือง ไปตามถนนทางหลวงหมายเลข ๓๑๘ สายตราด-คลองใหญ่ เป็นวัดเก่าแก่มีอายุมากกว่า ๑๑๐ ปี ปัจจุบันได้รับการบูรณะเป็นอย่างดี ตั้งอยู่บนภูเขาทำให้มองเห็นทิศทัศน์ด้านล่างที่เป็นป่า เขา และทะเล ลักษณะเด่นของวัด คือ การก่อสร้างด้านสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีความงดงาม มีการผสมผสานศิลปกรรมสมัยใหม่เข้าไว้ด้วย  ศาสนสถานที่สำคัญภายในบริเวณวัด ประกอบด้วย อุโบสถหลังใหญ่ พระเจดีย์ เรือนรับรองสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา สยามบรมราชกุมารี ฯ
