บทคัดย่อ

การค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพพื้นฐานทางสังคมและ
เศรษฐกิจของเกษตรกร 2) เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการผลิตข้าวของเกษตรกร 3) เพื่อศึกษาต้นทุนผลตอบแทนกรผลิตข้าวของเกษตรกร 4) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาในการผลิตข้าวของเกษตรกรหมู่ที่ 7 ตำบลกุดสระ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุดรธานี
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ เกษตรกรที่ปลูกข้าว กข6 ในหมู่ที่ 7 ตำบลกุดสระ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุดรธานี โดยได้ขึ้นทะเบียนเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกข้าว กข 6 ปีการผลิต 2557 จำนวน 50 ราย โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากประชากรทุกราย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 55.82 ปี จบการศึกษาชั้นประถมศึกษา มีประสบการณ์การปลูกข้าวเฉลี่ย 34.36 ปี สมาชิกครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 5.28 คน เป็นแรงงานภาคการเกษตรเฉลี่ย 4.08 คน เกษตรกรทุกคนใช้ทุนของตนเอง มีพื้นที่การเกษตรเฉลี่ย 13.82 ไร่ พื้นที่ปลูกข้าวเฉลี่ย 8.64 ไร่ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นพื้นที่ของตนเอง 2) เกษตรกรทุกรายปลูกข้าวพันธุ์ กข 6 ส่วนใหญ่เก็บเมล็ดพันธุ์ไว้เอง ใช้เมล็ดพันธุ์เฉลี่ย 3.98 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ มีการไถดะ ไถแปรและไถคราดทุกราย เป็นดินร่วนปนทราย ระยะห่างในการปักดำเฉลี่ย 28.60 เซนติเมตร จำนวนต้นเฉลี่ย 3.8 ต้นต่อกอ ปลูกข้าวโดยอาศัยน้ำฝนเป็นหลัก จึงไม่มีการให้น้ำ ใส่ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์เฉลี่ย 45.29 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ ใส่ปุ๋ยเคมีเฉลี่ย 12.95 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ 3) เกษตรกรมีผลผลิตเฉลี่ย 356.75 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ ต้นทุนการผลิตเฉลี่ย 6,485.22 บาทต่อไร่ รายได้เฉลี่ย 4,280.97 บาทต่อไร่ ขาดทุนเฉลี่ย 2,204.25 บาทต่อไร่หรือเท่ากับขาดทุน 6.18 บาทต่อกิโลกรัม 4) ปัญหาที่สำคัญในการผลิตข้าว คือ ปุ๋ยราคาแพง ค่าแรงงานสูง ขาดแคลนแรงงาน ราคาผลผลิตตกต่ำ
