โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏมหาสารคาม ตั้งอยู่บริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏมหาสารคาม ในเนื้อที่ 15 ไร่ เลขที่ 80 ถนนนครสวรรค์ ตำบลตลาด อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม 44001 โทร 0-4372-1816 http://satit.rmu.ac.th เปิดสอนระดับอนุบาล ประถมศึกษา และมัธยมศึกษา
ประวัติ
พ.ศ. 2516 ก่อตั้งห้องเรียนสาธิตของภาควิชาอนุบาลศึกษา คณะครุศาสตร์ วิทยาลัยครูมหาสารคาม ผู้บริหารวิทยาลัยที่เริ่มก่อตั้งคือ นายอรุณ ปรีดีดิลก

พ.ศ. 2530 เปิดสอนตั้งแต่ระดับอนุบาลถึงชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เป็นลุ่ยที่ 2
พ.ศ. 2531 ใช้บัญญัติสภาการฝึกหัดครูเป็นปีแรก โรงเรียนสาธิตวิทยาลัยครูมหาสารคาม มีฐานะเป็นภาควิชาหนึ่งในคณะครุศาสตร์ สังกัดวิชาวิทยาลัยครู
พ.ศ. 2540 มีห้องเรียนเพิ่มขึ้นตามลำดับ แยกเป็นระดับละ 2 ห้องเรียน รวม 16 ห้องเรียน
พ.ศ. 2543 เปิดสอนถึงระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 เป็นปีแรก จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน และได้เพิ่มห้องเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 เป็น 3 ห้อง รวมมี 18 ห้องเรียน
พ.ศ. 2546 เปิดสอนถึงระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 รวมมี 23 ห้องเรียน
