เนื่องด้วย สมาคมกีฬาหมากล้อมแห่งประเทศไทย และจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขัน ASIAN UNIVERSITY GO TOURNAMENT 2016 ระหว่างวันที่ 6-8 เมษายน 2559 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างสัมพันธภาพอันดีระหว่างเยาวชนจากภูมิภาคเอเชียที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน ทั้งนี้ คาดว่าจะมีนักกีฬาหมากล้อม ตลอดจนผู้บริหารสมาคมกีฬาหมากล้อมจากนานาประเทศ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าวประมาณ 50 คน

และในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ ยังได้จัดการแข่งขันหมากล้อมอุดมศึกษาชิงชนะเลิศแห่งประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 20 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่กีฬาหมากล้อมให้เป็นที่รู้จัก

เพื่อให้การดำเนินการจัดการแข่งขันหมากล้อมทั้ง 2 รายการดังกล่าว สำเร็จลุล่วงตามเป้าหมายที่วางไว้ ทางบริษัทฯ และสมาคมฯ จึงใคร่ขอความอนุเคราะห์จากท่านให้เกียรติร่วมสนับสนุนงบประมาณ หรือผลิตภัณฑ์ดังกล่าว ในการแข่งขันหมากล้อม “ASIAN UNIVERSITY GO TOURNAMENT 2016 ” ในครั้งนี้ และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าจะได้รับความร่วมมือจากท่านด้วยดี
