การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาการบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนา การบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน โดยศึกษาใน 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านการบริหารจัดการสถานศึกษา ด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาผู้เรียน และด้านพัฒนาบุคลากรสถานศึกษา กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา คณะครู และคณะกรรมสถานศึกษา รวมจำนวน 15 คน ทำการรวบรวมข้อมูลจากศึกษาเอกสาร การสังเกต การสัมภาษณ์ และการประชุมสนทนากลุ่ม ผู้วิจัยได้แยกแยะข้อมูลให้เป็นหมวดหมู่ และทำการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนา
