การสมรสระหว่างคนไทยกับคนอียิปต์
การขอจดทะเบียนสมรสผู้ที่จะทำการสมรสจะต้องยื่นคำร้องด้วยตนเองที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เนื่องจากคู่สมรสต้องลงลายมือชื่อต่อหน้านายทะเบียน และพยาน 2 คน โดยจะต้องเตรียมเอกสารของผู้ร้องทั้งสองฝ่ายตามที่ระบุดังต่อไปนี้มาให้ครบถ้วน 

เอกสารของบุคคลสัญชาติไทย

คำร้องขอจดทะเบียนสมรส
บัตรประจำตัวประชาชนตัวจริง หรือบัตรเหลืองติดรูปถ่าย หรือหนังสือรับรองบุคคลติดรูปถ่าย หรือ ใบต้นขั้วคำร้องขอมีบัตรประชาชน 
มีตรารับรองจากที่ว่าการอำเภอ หรือเอกสารรับรองบุคคลออกโดยกรมการปกครองพร้อมสำเนาด้านหน้าและด้านหลัง 1 ชุด
ทะเบียนบ้านไทยตัวจริง หรือฉบับที่มีตรารับรองจากที่ว่าการอำเภอ พร้อมสำเนา 1 ชุด (สำเนาซึ่งที่ว่าการอำเภอรับรองมา 
จะต้องออกให้ภายใน 3 เดือน นับถึงวันที่มายื่น)
หนังสือเดินทางตัวจริง พร้อมสำเนาหน้าที่มีรูปถ่าย หน้าต่ออายุหนังสือเดินทาง และหน้าเปลี่ยนนามสกุล 
กรณี มีวีซ่า กรุณาถ่ายสำเนาหน้าวีซ่ามาด้วย 1 ชุด
ใบรับรองความเป็นโสดซึ่งออกโดยที่ว่าการอำเภอไทยไม่เกิน 3 เดือน โดยต้องผ่านการรับรองจาก 
กองสัญชาติและนิติกรณ์กระทรวงการต่างประเทศไทย 
กรณี ที่เคยทำการสมรสและเคยหย่าจะต้องมีหนังสือรับรอง (ออกโดยที่ว่าการอำเภอไม่เกิน 3 เดือน) ว่าไม่เคยทำการสมรสกับผู้ใดภายหลังจากการหย่ามาแสดงด้วย (ต้องผ่านการรับรองจากกองสัญชาติและนิติกรณ์ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศไทย)
หากเคยแต่งงานมาก่อน ต้องนำใบสำคัญการหย่าตัวจริง หรือใบทะเบียนฐานะครอบครัวหย่า พร้อมสำเนา 1 ชุด มาแสดง 
กรณี ที่เป็นหญิงไทย และหย่ายังไม่ถึง 310 วัน จะต้องมีใบรับรองแพทย์ว่าไม่ได้ตั้งครรภ์มาแสดง
เอกสารของบุคคลสัญชาติอียิปต์

หนังสือเดินทางตัวจริง พร้อมสำเนาหน้าที่มีรูปถ่ายและมีชื่อ 1 ชุด หรือใบอนุญาตขับขี่รถยนต์ พร้อมสำเนาด้านหน้าและด้านหลัง
ใบรับรองความเป็นโสดออกโดยทางการอียิปต์ ซึ่งจะต้องแปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ และได้รับการรับรองเอกสารจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศอียิปต์
* เอกสารทุกอย่างต้องออกให้ภายใน 3 เดือน นับถึงวันที่มายื่น*

ในบางกรณีสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ อาจขอเอกสารจำเป็นอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องเพิ่มเติมด้วย
