สำหรับการเพราะเลี้ยง เชื้อไตรโครเดอ

สำหรับการเพราะเลี้ยง เชื้อไตรโครเดอร์ม่า(Trichoderma) มีดังนี้
(1) หุงปลายข้าวด้วยหม้อหุงข้าวไฟฟ้า โดยใช้ข้าว 3 ส่วน ต่อน้ำ 2 ส่วน จะได้ข้าวที่มีลักษณะกึ่งแข็งกึ่งนิ่ม
(2) ตักข้าวที่หุงสุกแล้ว ประมาณ 2 ทัพพี ใส่ในถุงพลาสติกที่ทนร้อนได้ ใน 1 ถุง จะได้ข้าว ประมาณ 250 กรัม ในขั้นตอนนี้มีข้อสังเกตและข้อพึ่งระวัง เรื่องการตักข้าว ให้ตักข้าวในขณะที่ยังร้อนอยู่ ทั้งนี้ก็เพื่อช่วยทำลายจุลินทรีย์อื่นๆจากอากาศที่อาจจะปนเปื้อนอยู่ในถุงข้าวด้วย นั่นก็จะส่งผลทำให้ไม่สามารถรักษาเชื้อสดที่ต้องการนี้ไว้ได้นานนัก
(3) กดข้าว (ที่อยู่ในถุงพลาสติกแล้ว) ให้แบน รีดเอาอากาศออกจากถุง ให้ถุงพลาสติกแนบกับข้าว เพื่อลดการเกิดหยดน้ำ (ในถุงพลาสติก) แล้วก็รอให้ข้าวอุ่นหรือเกือบเย็น จึงจะนำไปใส่หัวเชื้อ (ไตรโครเดอร์มา)
(4) เหยาะหัวเชื้อ (ไตรโครเดอร์มา) 2 – 3 ครั้ง แล้วรัดยางตรงปากถุงให้แน่นก่อน เขย่าหรือบีบข้าวเบาๆ เพื่อให้ผงหัวเชื้อกระจายทั่วทั้งในถุง
(5) รวบถุงให้บริเวณปากถุงพองก่อน ใช้เข็มแหลมแทงบริเวณรอบๆปากถุงที่รัดยางเอาไว้
(6) กดข้าวในถุงให้แผ่กระจาย ดึงบริเวณตรงกลางถุงขึ้น เพื่อไม่ให้พลาสติกแนบติดกับข้าวและเพื่อให้มีอากาศใหม่เข้าไปภายในถุงอย่างพอเพียง ข้อระวังในขั้นตอนนี้คือ ไม่ควรวางถุงซ้อนทับกัน
(7) บ่มเชื้อทิ้งไว้เป็นระยะเวลา 2 วัน สถานที่ที่บ่มเชื้อต้องมีอากาศถ่ายเทสะดวกและปราศจากสัตว์เลี้ยง รวมถึงสิ่งมีชีวิตเล็กๆ ที่จะมารบกวนการแผ่เชื้อในถุง
(8) เชื้อชนิดสดที่ได้ ควรนำไปใช้ทันทีหรือเก็บไว้ในตู้เย็นช่องธรรมดา มีอุณหภูมิอยู่ในช่วงระหว่าง 8 – 10 องศาเซลเซียส ข้อระวังในขั้นตอนนี้ก็จะเป็นเรื่องของการเก็บเชื้อที่ไม่ควรเก็บทิ้งไว้นานเป็นเดือน
