บทที่ 3
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย

ผู้วิจัยได้ดำเนินการศึกษาตามลำดับขั้นตอน ดังนี้
1. ประชากรกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
2. เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย
3. การสร้างและหาคุณภาพเครื่องมือ
4. การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล
5. การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
6. สถิติที่ใช้ในงานวิจัย

1. ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนบ้านวังสารภีอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรีจำนวน 27 คน

2. เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย
1) แบบฝึกการอ่านเรื่อง New Year’s Day
2) แบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านวัดความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษใช้วัดก่อนและหลังการทดลองโดยวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านเป็นรายบุคคลจำนวน 20 ข้อ

3. การสร้างและหาคุณภาพเครื่องมือ
แบบฝึกการอ่าน

1.3 ศึกษาเอกสารที่เกี่ยวกับแบบฝึกทักษะที่สอดคล้องกับหลักสูตร ซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้นำแบบฝึกทักษะของ เยาวรัตน์ ทักสูงเนินโรงเรียนพระทองคำวิทยามาเป็นตัวแบบในการสร้างแบบฝึกทักษะของผู้วิจัยเอง
1.4 สร้างแบบฝึกทักษะเรื่อง New Year’s Day
1.5 นำแบบฝึกทักษะที่สร้างขึ้นให้อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาตรวจสอบความถูกต้อง ขั้นตอนและกิจกรรมต่างๆ และแก้ไขตามคำแนะนำ
1.6 นำแบบฝึกทักษะที่แก้ไขแล้วไปให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญประเมินIOC
1.7 ปรับปรุงและแก้ไขแบบฝึกทักษะตามคำแนะนำของผู้เชี่ยวชาญและอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา เพื่อนำไปใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่างต่อไป
