วันหนึ่งคนหาปลาเดินสวนกับนายพรานเเละเห็นว่านายพราน มีเนื้อสัตว์มากมายจึงถามว่า

"ท่านพรานป่า ข้าขอเอาปลาเเลกกับเนื้อสัตว์บ้างได้หรือไม่"

นายพรานเห็นคนหาปลามีปลาหลายตัวก็นึกอยากจะลองกิน เนื้อปลา

วันต่อๆ มาคนหาปลากับพรานก็นัดพบเพื่อเเลกเปลี่ยนอาหารกัน ทุกวัน

จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่งคนหาปลาก็เอ่ยขึ้นว่า
