อำเภอเมือง จ.สระแก้ว
ประกาศจัดตั้งเป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติ เมื่อวันที่ 22 กุมพาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2525 มีพื้นที่ครอบคลุมอำเภอเมือง ฯ อำเภอ วัฒนานคร อำเภอตาพระยา จังหวัดสระแก้ว และอำภอ นาดี จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี มีพื้นที่ทั้งหมดประมาณ 844 ตารางกิโลเมตร หรือ 527, 500 ไร่ อาณาเขตทางด้านทิศเหนือทั้งหมดกับด้านทิศตะวันตกบางส่วน มีแนวป่าต่อเนื่องกับอุทยานแห่งชาติทับลาน สภาพป่าเป็นภูเขาสูงชันสลับซับซ้อน มีทั้งป่าดิบชื้น ป่าดิบเขา ป่าดิบแห้ง ป่าเต็งรัง และป่าทุ่งหญ้า เป็นป่าต้นกำเนิดของต้นน้ำลำธารหลายสายเช่นเดียวกับเขาใหญ่ เช่น ห้วยโสมง ห้วยเสียว ห้วยน้ำเย็น ห้วยพระปรง ห้วยพลับพลึง ห้วยยาง ห้วยเลิงไผ่ ห้วยละพูด ลำห้วยต่างๆ เหล่านี้จะไหลลงสู่แม่น้ำบางปะกงหรือแม่น้ำปราจีนบุรี ซึ่งจัดเป็นแม่น้ำสายสำคัญของภาคตะวันออก

สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติปางสีดา

แหล่งดูผีเสื้อ อุทยานฯได้จัดเส้นทางแนะนำเพื่อดูผีเสื้อที่มีกว่า 250 ชนิด ได้แก่บริเวณน้ำตกปางสีดา น้ำตกลานหินดาด ห้วยน้ำเย็น และแหล่งน้ำซับ กม.26 ในช่วงต้นฤดูฝนมีการจัดเทศกาลดูผีเสื้อที่อุทยานแห่งชาติปางสีดาด้วย
