ขวัญได้รับการทาบทามและแนะนำจากทีมงานนักแสดงตั้งแต่อายุ 3 ขวบ โดยเริ่มจากงานเดินแบบ และเล่นละคร โดยละครเรื่องแรกที่เล่น คือ "พ่อจ๋า แม่ขา ลูกรัก" จนได้รับงานแสดงทั้งของช่อง 3 และ ช่อง 7
