ในปัจจุบันเราจะเห็นสุนัขจรจัดตามที่สาธารณะทั่วไป เช่น วัด สะพานลอย สวนสาธารณะ หรือตามข้างถนน เป็นต้น ซึ่งอาจจะส่งผลกระทบต่อสังคมส่วนใหญ่อย่างมาก อาทิเช่น เป็นพาหะของเชื้อโรคต่างๆ ทำให้เกิดอุบัติเหตุบนท้องถนน หรืออาจจะเป็นภาพที่ไม่น่ามองของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติซึ่งอาจส่งผลต่อภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศได้ผู้จัดทำจึงได้ การศึกษาค้นคว้า เรื่อง ปัญหาสุนัขจรจัดเพิ่มขึ้นตามที่สาธารณะ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1. เพื่อศึกษาสาเหตุของปัญหาการเพิ่มขึ้นของสุนัขจรจักตามที่สาธารณะ 2.เพื่อศึกษาการแก้ปัญหาการเพิ่มขึ้นของสุนัขจรจัดตามที่สาธารณะโดยผู้จัดทำได้ทำแบบสอบถาม จำนวน 30 คน ซึ่งมีผลการดำเนินตามวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1.สาเหตุที่คนนำสุนัขมาทิ้งตามที่สาธารณะอันดับ 1 คือเนื่องจากมีปัญหาเรื่องค่าใช้จ่าย พื้นที่ในการเลี้ยงสุนขไม่เพียงพอ อันดับที่ 2 คือสุนัขออกลูกที่จำนวนเยอะเกินไปไม่สามารถเลี้ยงต่อได้ 2.วิธีแก้ปัญหาการเพิ่มขึ้นของสุนัขจรจัด คือ อันดับที่1 คือผู้เลี้ยงมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสุนัขอยู่ตลอดไม่ปล่อยปละละเลยตลอดจนวางแผนคุมกำเนิดครอบครัวสุนัขด้วยมากที่สุดอันดับที่ 2 จัดระเบียบการเลี้ยงสุนัขของชาวเมืองโดยการขึ้นทะเบียน อันดับที่ 3 คือฉีดวัคซีน ฉีดยาคุมกำเนิด และทำหมันฟรีแก่สุนัขจรจัด
