จากข้อมูลที่ได้ทำการสอบถามโดยการแจกแบบสอบถามเก็บข้อมูลจากนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฎ อุบลราชธานีจำนวน 30 คน นั้น นักศึกษาสามารถนำความรู้ภาษาอังกฤษจากนอกห้องเรียน ดังนี้
นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในชั้นเรียน โดยการนำมาพุดหน้าชั้นเรียนสนทนากับเพื่อนและครูเป็นภาษาอังกฤษแล้วสามารถนำมาใช้ในการฟังเวลาอาจารย์บรรยายเป็นภาษาอังกฤษซึ่งทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจมากขึ้น นำคำศัพท์ที่ได้ยินได้ฟังมาพูดคุยกับเพื่อนในห้อง
และนำมาฝึกออกเสียง นำเทคนิคใหม่ๆจากกาคุยกับชาวต่างชาติและการเรียนรู้จากสื่อโซเชียลมีเดียต่างๆ มาใช้ในการเรียนรู้ได้ วิธีการเหล่านี้ ทำให้สามารถแก้ปัญหา หรือสถานการณ์เฉพาะหน้าได้ ซึ่งทำให้มีความมั่นใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมากยิ่งขึ้น

จากการศึกษาโดยการใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บข้อมูลจากนักศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 30 คน นักศึกษาได้รับประโยชน์จากการศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษนอกห้องเรียนด้วยตัวเอง ดังนี้ นักศึกษาจำนวน 19 คนระบุว่าสามารถนำความรู้และเทคนิคต่างๆที่ไม่มีในห้องเรียนมาประยุกต์ใช้ในห้องเรียนและชีวิตประจำวันได้ ทำให้กล้าแสดงออกในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษมากยิ่งขึ้น เช่น การพูดหน้าชั้นเรียนได้รับความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่หลากหลายรวมถึงเป็นการโลกทัศน์ในการเรียนรู้ของตนเอง ซึ่งช่วยในการพัฒนาทักษะในด้านต่างๆดียิ่งขึ้น นักศึกษาจำนวน 6 คน ระบุว่า ได้ประสบการณ์ตรงจากจากการฝึกพูดกับเจ้าของภาษามีอิสระทางความคิดมากกว่าการเรียนในห้องเรียนและนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในห้องเรียนได้ และนักศึกษาจำนวน 5 คน ระบุว่าได้เรียนรู้โครงสร้างของประโยคเพิ่มเติมจากนอกห้องเรียนและได้เรียนรู้วิธีและเทคนิคต่างๆอย่างอิสระรวมถึงได้เรียนรู้คำศัพท์ใหม่ๆ ซึ่งส่งผลกับการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพราะว่าการที่เรามีเทคนิคที่มากขึ้น มีการเรียนรู้คำศัพท์มากขึ้นก็จะทำให้เราสามารถติดต่อสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติทั้งในห้องเรียนและนอกห้องเรียนได้มากยิ่งขึ้น
