ตามที่กฎกระทรวง กำหนดมาตรฐานในการบริหารและการจัดการด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน พ.ศ. 2549 ลงวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2549 กำหนดให้สถานประกอบกิจการที่มีลูกจ้างตั้งแต่สองร้อยคนขึ้นไป ต้องจัดให้มีหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน
ดังนั้น เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามกฎกระทรวงดังกล่าว ทางบริษัท ไทยคาเมดะ จำกัด ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 118 หมู่ที่ 9 ซอยวัดมหาวงษ์ ถนนปู่เจ้าสมิงพราย ตำบลสำโรง อำเภอพระประแดง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ จึงมีคำสั่งแต่งตั้งหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ประจำสถานประกอบกิจการที่ขึ้นตรงต่อผู้บริหารสูงสุด โดยมีผู้รับผิดชอบในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของหน่วยงานความปลอดภัย ดังต่อไปนี้

1. นางสาวศิริกาญจน์ แก้วปรารถนา ตำแหน่ง หัวหน้าหน่วยงานความปลอดภัย
2. นายณัฐวัฒน์ ศิริเลิศลักษณา ตำแหน่ง เจ้าหน้าที่สิ่งแวดล้อมประจำ
หน่วยงานความปลอดภัย

โดยให้หน่วยงานความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน มีหน้าที่ดังต่อไปนี้
1. วางแผนการดำเนินงานสำหรับการขจัดความเสี่ยงของสถานประกอบกิจการและดูแลให้มีการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง
2. จัดทำข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันอันตรายจากอุบัติเหตุ อุบัติภัย และควบคุมความเสี่ยงภายในสถานประกอบกิจการ
3. จัดทำคู่มือและมาตรฐานว่าด้วยความปลอดภัยในการทำงานไว้ในสถานประกอบกิจการ เพื่อให้ลูกจ้างหรือผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้ใช้ประโยชน์
4. กำหนดชนิดของอุปกรณ์คุ้มครองความปลอดภัยส่วนบุคคลที่เหมาะสมกับลักษณะความเสี่ยงของงานเสนอต่อนายจ้าง เพื่อให้ลูกจ้างหรือผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องสวมใส่ขณะปฏิบัติงาน
5. ส่งเสริม สนับสนุน ด้านวิชาการและการปฏิบัติงานของหน่วยงานต่างๆในสถานประกอบกิจการ เพื่อให้ลูกจ้างปลอดจากเหตุอันจะทำให้เกิดการประสบอันตรายหรือการเจ็บป่วยอันเนื่องจากการทำงาน รวมทั้งด้านการควบคุมป้องกันอัคคีภัยและอุบัติภัยร้ายแรงด้วย



6. จัดอบรมเกี่ยวกับความรู้พื้นฐานและข้อปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับความปลอดภัยในการทำงานแก่ลูกจ้างที่เข้าทำงานใหม่ก่อนให้ปฏิบัติงาน รวมทั้งลูกจ้างซึ่งต้องทำงานที่มีความแตกต่างไปจากงานเดิมที่เคยปฏิบัติงานอยู่และอาจเกิดอันตรายด้วย
7. ประสานการดำเนินงานความปลอดภัยในการทำงานกับหน่วยงานต่างๆทั้งภายในและภายนอกสถานประกอบกิจการ รวมทั้งหน่วยงานราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง
8. ตรวจประเมินระบบความปลอดภัยในการทำงานในภาพรวมของสถานประกอบกิจการ

9. รวบรวมผลการดำเนินงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานทุกระดับและติดตามผลการดำเนินงานด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานให้เป็นไปตามนโยบายและแผนงานของสถานประกอบกิจการ พร้อมทั้งรายงานให้นายจ้างและคณะกรรมการทราบทุกสามเดือน

10. ปฏิบัติงานด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอื่นๆตามที่นายจ้างมอบหมาย

โดยให้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในฐานะหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ประจำสถานประกอบกิจาการ ตั้งแต่ วันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน 2559 เป็นต้นไป
