การแต่งกายของเผ่าลีซู
เสื้อผ้าสตรีมีลักษณะคล้ายเสื้อคลุม ผ่าเฉียงจากคอลงไปถึงเข่าแทนกระโปรง ส่วนใหญ่ใช้สีฟ้าสดใส ช่วงแขนที่ยาวลงมาถึงข้อมือขลิบผ้าสีดำที่ริมชาย ตรงคอและไหล่ขลิบด้วยสีแดงชมพู คาดเป็นลายสวยงาม ที่เอวใช้ผ้าสีดำคาดเป็นเข็มขัด ส่วนชั้นในสวมกางเกงขายาวไว้เสมอ ตรงขอบกางเกงขลิบด้วยสีดำหรือสีม่วงและลายอื่น ๆ เสื้อลีซูหญิงมักใช้สีที่ดูเด่นเสมอ ส่วนเครื่องแต่งกายบุรุษสวมเสื้อคอกลมสีดำ ผ่าอกด้านขวาทับด้านซ้ายเป็นแนวเฉียงปักลวดลายสีขาวที่หน้าอก และประดับด้วยกระดุมสีเงินตามไหล่และคอ กางเกงขายาวเป้ากว้างสีดำ มีแถบตรงปลายขาสีฟ้า
ภาษาของเผ่าลีซู
ภาษาลีซูอยู่ในกลุ่มเดียวกันกับภาษามูเซอและอีก้อ ซึ่งกลุ่มนี้รวมเรียกว่า “โลโล” (Loloish) ภาษากลุ่มโลโลมีความสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มภาษาพม่า (Burmish) จึงรวมเป็นกลุ่มใหญ่ขึ้นเรียกว่า กลุ่มพม่า-โลโล (Burmese-Lolo) และกลุ่มภาษาพม่า-โลโลมีความสัมพันธ์กับภาษาธิเบต (Tibetan) จึงรวมกันเข้าเป็นตระกูลภาษาใหญ่ธิเบต-พม่า
