เทศบาลนครขอนแก่น ร่วมกับ จังหวัดขอนแก่น องค์การบริหารส้่วนจังหวัดขอนแก่น และหน่วยงานภาคเอกชน กำหนดจัด “งานมหัศจรรย์พรรณไม้นานาชาติขอนแก่น ประจำปี 2558” ในปีนี้จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 3 ภายใต้แนวคิด “มนตราแห่งดอกไม้” Amazing International Flower Festival in Khon Kaen 2015 : Episode III : Magic of Flowers ในระหว่างวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2558 – 3 มกราคม 2559 ตั้งแต่เวลา 07.00 – 20.00 น. ณ บริเวณสวนสุขภาพ บึงทุ่งสร้างเทศบาลนครขอนแก่น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรณรงค์ให้ประชาชนตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของพื้นที่สีเขียว และการสร้างสุขโดยให้ประชาชนได้สัมผัสความงาม ความมหัศจรรย์ของศิลปะการจัดสวนดอกไม้ ตลอดจนเพื่อส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดขอนแก่น ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่ผสมผสานความสวยงามแบบธรรมชาติและการประดิษฐ์ประดอยเรียงร้อยกันอย่างลงตัวในพื้นที่ทั้งหมด 73 ไร่ เป็นพื้นที่กิจกรรม 63 ไร่ และพื้นที่ลานจอดรถ 10 ไร่
