จากการศึกษาค้นคว้าและสำรวจความต้องการทางด้านโลจิสติกส์เพื่อจัดตั้งศูนย์โลจิสติกส์ของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณีโดยพิจารณาจังหวัดหลัก 4 จังหวัด ได้แก่ จังหวัดชลบุรี จังหวัดระยอง จังหวัดจันทบุรี และจังหวัดตราด มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการด้านโลจิสติกส์ ผู้วิจัยสำรวจโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเพื่อให้ทราบถึงความต้องการของแต่ละจังหวัด และนำผลที่ได้ไปวิเคราะห์และคำนวณผลโดยใช้วิธีการ พิจารณาร่วมกับค่าน้ำหนักของแต่ละจังหวัด ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า จังหวัดชลบุรี จังหวัดระยอง จังหวัดตราด มีความต้องการด้านการบริการลูกค้า (Customer Service) มากที่สุด เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับความต้องการด้านโลจิสติกส์ทั้ง 13 กิจกรรม
