In this paper, a simple and effective carbon ionic liquid electrode
modified with hydroxyapatite was developed, and the
sensor was applied to the simultaneous determination of Pb2+
and Cd2+ by using square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry
(SWASV). The modifier, hydroxyapatite can pre-concentrate Pb2+
and Cd2+ from aqueous solution to the surface of the modified
electrode by exchanging the Ca2+ in Ca5(PO4)3(OH) with
these ions, and greatly increase the sensitivity of determination.
In addition, because of the high stability and electrical conductivity
of ionic liquid, the proposed electrode has a wide linear
range of concentrations, high sensitivity, good selectivity and reproducibility for the determination of Pb2+ and Cd2+ in water
samples.
