We introduced the award in 2013, and many have benefitted from the journey of discovery and learning. You heard from the 2013 winners themselves last week in a few teasers over the email.

Professional growth and leadership development are the real rewards of CIMB Emerald Award, but this year, we are also topping up the winners' package with a study tour. Our objectives are the same: to talent spot and to reward exemplary middle managers in CIMB (those who display strong leadership qualities, and skills as described in our CIMB Competency Framework). The e-poster below provides a link to CIMBNET for details on this competition.

If you are middle manager, please talk to your supervisor about your interest to take part in this Group-wide programme, and send in your nomination. Or if you have capable middle managers reporting to you, please encourage them to send in their nomination.

I look forward to another round of intense competition among our best middle managers in the Group for the top ten spots.


We are again on the lookout for 10 outstanding middle managers across the region; high performers who communicate well and have demonstrated exemplary coaching, networking and collaboration capabilities in leading others and driving results

Supervisors are to nominate their outstanding managers for this award. Alternatively, staff can self-nominate with strong recommendation from their superior(s). Nominations must be submitted by 31 May 2015.
