ตามกฎกระทรวง ว่าด้วยการจัดสวัสดิการในสถานประกอบกิจการ พ.ศ. 2548 กำหนดให้สถานประกอบการที่มีลูกจ้างทำงานในขณะเดียวกันตั้งแต่ 200 คนขึ้นไป ต้องจัดให้มีห้องพยาบาลพร้อมเตียงคนไข้อย่างน้อย 1 เตียง และมีพยาบาลอย่างน้อย 1 คน ประจำตลอดเวลาทำงาน
