สำหรับงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์บุคคล การสังเกตและการตรวจสอบเอกสาร เหตุผลที่ผู้วิจัยเลือกใช้การสัมภาษณ์ เพราะว่า การสัมภาษณ์เป็นการคุยอย่างมีจุดมุ่งหมาย ซึ่งนิยมใช้เป็นเครื่องมือเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะด้านความรู้สึก อาทิเช่น บุคลิกภาพ การปรับตัว เจตคติ ความสนใจ รวมทั้งคุณลักษณะเกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติ และยังสามารถใช้วัดความสามารถในด้านความรู้ความคิดทางสติปัญญาก็ได้ สำหรับการเรียนการสอนผู้วิจัยคิดว่าจะนำการสัมภาษณ์ไปใช้ในลักษณะ ดังนี้
1. ใช้ประกอบการสังเกต ถ้าครูใช้การสังเกตแล้วยังพบว่าได้ข้อมูลไม่ครบถ้วนก็อาจจำเป็นต้องสัมภาษณ์เพิ่มเติม
2. ใช้แทนการสังเกต ในบางครั้งครูอาจไม่สามารถสังเกตนักเรียนได้ทั่วถึงทุกคน ก็อาจใช้วิธีการซักถามจากเพื่อนครูคนอื่น หรือบุคคลอื่นที่เชื่อถือได้ เพื่อนำข้อมูลมาตัดสิน

1. ใช้ในการทดสอบ ในกรณีที่นักเรียนยังเขียนไม่เป็น ครูอาจนำข้อสอบมาถามให้นักเรียนตอบด้วยวาจา ก็ถือเป็นการสัมภาษณ์
