กรณีเกิดเพลิงไหม้ รปภ.จะต้องช่วยกันดับเพลิงโดยใช้อุปกรณ์ดับเพลิงที่มีอยู่ก่อน และรีบโทรศัพท์รายงานให้ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบุคคลทราบเพื่อดำเนินการต่อไป ในกรณีที่เพลิงไหม้อย่างรุนแรงไม่สามารถควบคุมได้ จะต้องแจ้งให้ทางหน่วยงานดับเพลิงทราบเพื่อระงับเหตุ
