ประวัติปฏิปทาพระพุทธบรรพจารย์เทียนหยาน พระภาคจุติหนึ่งของพระอาจารย์จี้กง

เมื่ออายุ 27 ปี (พุทธศักราช 2458) ในวันหนึ่งได้พบกับอาจารย์ท่านหนึ่ง แซ่สกุลเกิ่ง ซึ่งเดินทางมาเผยแผ่อนุตตรธรรม ได้รับฟังคำสอนที่น่าเลื่อมใสนั้นแล้วก็ยังไม่กล้าที่จะตัดสินใจสมาทานขอเข้ารับวิถีธรรม ได้กลับไปบ้าน และขอให้มารดามารับธรรมะดูก่อน เมื่อมารดาขอรับธรรมะแล้ว ก็ตั้งใจศึกษาปฏิบัติจึงได้รู้ว่าวิถีธรรมนี้ประเสริฐยิ่งนัก ยิ่งกว่านั้นยังรู้ด้วยว่า การปฏิบัติธรรมนี้จะเป็นทางสร้างบุญบารมีเพื่อฉุดช่วยดวงวิญญาณของบุพการีที่วายชนม์ให้พ้นไปจากทุคติได้ด้วย
ด้วยเหตุนี้เองทำให้ท่านขุยเซิงเกิดความสำนึกในความกตัญญูที่บุตรพึงมีต่อบิดาที่ด่วนจากไปโดยท่านเองยังมิได้เลี้ยงดูตอบแทนพระคุณเลย ประกอบกับจิตใจที่ใฝ่กุศลเป็นทุนเดิมอยู่แล้ว จึงได้ขอรับวิถีธรรม และได้ถวายตัวมอบใจกายรับใช้งานธรรม ติดตามอาจารย์เกิ่งเดินทางบุกเบิกแพร่ธรรมไปยังที่ต่าง ๆ และด้วยความมุ่งมั่นศรัทธาของท่านนั่นเอง เป็นผลให้ทุกคนในครอบครัวบังเกิดศรัทธาอย่างยิ่ง ได้สร้างตำหนักในครอบครัวขึ้นมา และอุทิศให้เป็นสาธารณกุศล ในขณะเดียวกันท่านขุยเซิงก็ยังคงเดินทางแพร่ธรรมไปโดยไม่เห็นแก่ความเหน็ดเหนี่อย ฉุดช่วยทุกคนที่ช่วยได้ ใน 3-4 ปีแห่งการปฏิบัติงานธรรม ท่านได้ฉุดช่วยผู้คนมารับธรรมะเพียง 64 คนเท่านั้น เพราะว่าในสมัยธรรมาจารย์ที่ 17 ได้บัญญัติกฏไว้ว่า
