โครงงานนี้ได้ทำการทดลองเพื่อศึกษาการใช้งาน Discrete Cosine Transform Function โดยนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการบีบอัดข้อมูล(ในที่นี้ใช้กับข้อมูลที่เป็นไฟล์ภาพ) ในการทดลองจะทำการแปลงข้อมูลภาพที่อยู่ใน Spatial domain ให้อยู่ใน Frequency domain โดยใช้ความสัมพันธ์ของ Discrete Cosine Transform Function แล้วทำการ Cut off frequency ที่ย่านความถี่ต่ำและย่านความถี่สูง
