ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า มีแนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารสถานศึกษาตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในโรงเรียนบ้านโป่งรู อำเภอป่าซาง จังหวัดลำพูน คือ การบริหารจัดการสถานศึกษา ได้กำหนดนโยบายโดยจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติงาน ด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอน จัดให้มีหน่วยการเรียนรู้ปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงทุกระดับชั้น ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาผู้เรียน จัดให้มีการแนะแนวและระบบดูแลช่วยเหลือผู้เรียน จัดให้มีกิจกรรมนักเรียนทั้งกิจกรรมลูกเสือ เนตรนารี ชุมนุม ส่งเสริมในการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมและสาธารณะประโยชน์ ด้านพัฒนาบุคลากรของสถานศึกษา โดยการส่งเสริมสนับสนุนให้บุคลากรได้มีการพัฒนาตนเอง ให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจ และสามารถนำไปปฏิบัติตามแนวปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง มีปัญหาในการดำเนินการ ขาดสื่อ อุปกรณ์ งบประมาณในการดำเนินงาน บุคลากรขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจ ขาดการนิเทศ ติดตาม ปรับปรุงพัฒนาให้ดีขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องและชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมน้อย จึงมีแนวทางการพัฒนา ดังนี้ ควรมีการดำเนินงานให้ต่อเนื่อง ระดมปัจจัยความช่วยเหลือด้านกำลังกาย กำลังทรัพย์ จากคณะครู ผู้ปกครอง ชุมชน ท้องถิ่นและหน่วยงานองค์กรต่างๆ ควรมีการจัดทำหลักสูตรให้สอดคล้องกับท้องถิ่น และส่งเสริมบุคลากรอบรม ศึกษาดูงานเกี่ยวกับการนำปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงไปใช้ในสถานศึกษา
