งานวิจัยเผย "เช็ดตัว" ด้วย "มะนาวผสมน้ำอุ่น" ช่วยลดไข้ได้!

ผู้ดูแลผู้ปกครองไม่ให้ความร่วมมือในการเช็ดตัว โดยให้เหตุผลว่าการเช็ดตัวใช้เวลานาน และไข้กลับสูงซ้ำหลังเช็ดตัวไม่นาน จึงได้ทำการทดสอบเพื่อหาวิธีการเช็ดตัว ที่ช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในลดไข้ในผู้ป่วยเด็ก ซึ่งได้เลือกใช้ "มะนาว" ที่มีงานวิจัยในต่างประเทศว่า มีฤทธิ์ช่วยลดไข้ได้ ซึ่งฤทธิ์ทางเคมีอยู่ในน้ำมันจากเปลือกมะนาว

วิธีการใช้คือ นำมะนาวมากดลงในน้ำอุ่น แล้วผ่าครึ่งซีกก่อนบีบน้ำมะนาวออกมา จากนั้นนำไปเช็ดตัวเพื่อลดไข้ ซึ่งมะนาวยังเป็นสิ่งที่หาง่ายในครัวเรือนไทยอีกด้วย

น.ส.ชลิดากล่าวว่า การทดลองได้ทำในผู้ป่วยเด็ก 60 ราย อายุเฉลี่ย 2 ขวบ ที่มีอุณหภูมิร่างกายมากกว่า 38.5 องศาเซลเซียส ซึ่งเข้ารับการรักษาเป็นผู้ป่วยใน โดยแบ่งกลุ่มเด็กเป็นกลุ่มที่ใช้น้ำอุ่นผสมน้ำมะนาว และใช้น้ำอุ่นตามปกติ และใช้ตารางเก็บบันทึกอุณหภูมิอย่างละเอียด
