บ้านกะเหรี่ยงรวมมิตร เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศที่มีชื่อเสียงในการขี่ช้างและการเข้าถึงวิถีชีวิตแบบชาวกะเหรี่ยง ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำกก รายล้อมไปด้วยหมู่บ้านที่ประกอบไปด้วยชาวเขาหลายเผ่า อาทิ กะเหรี่ยง ม้ง อาข่า ลาหู่ ลีซอ ไทลื้อ ฯ ที่บ้านกะเหรี่ยงรวมมิตรเริ่มต้นการให้บริการทัวร์ช้างมาตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2518 แต่ยังไม่แพร่หลายนัก จนได้มีการยอมรับจากชุมชนโดยรอบมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ จึงได้กลายมาเป็น”ทัวร์ช้างบ้านกะเหรี่ยงรวมมิตร” มาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ในปี พ.ศ. 2549 อีกทั้งยังได้นรับรางวัล “หมู่บ้านหัตถกรรมและท่องเที่ยว OTOP ประจำปี 2549” และนับว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางของชาวเขาในบริเวณอำเภอเมืองเชียงรายอีกด้วย

การมาเที่ยวที่บ้านกะเหรี่ยงรวมมิตรเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างประเทศ ปัจจุบันมีช้างประมาณ 35 เชือกให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยว โดยการขี่ช้างจะมีให้เลือกตามเส้นทางตั้งแต่ 30 นาที ไปจนถึง 2 ชั่วโมง ผ่านหมู่บ้านกะเหรี่ยงต่างๆ อาทิ บ้านจะต๋อ บ้านแควัวดำ บ้านยะฟู บ้านจะแล บ้านอาผ่า บ้านเย้า ฯ รวมถึงน้ำตกห้วยแม่ซ้ายควบคุมโดยควาญช้างจะมีการแต่งชุดประจำเผ่า
