โครงงานนี้ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับ การทำแอพพลิเคชั่นแจ้งเตือนข่าวสารของมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ท-เชียงใหม่ ที่มีการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีของ “แอนดรอยด์” เข้ามาใช้งาน เป็นหลักในการศึกษาและพัฒนา เนื่องจากเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่ได้รับความนิยมใช้งานมากในขณะนี้ และ “แอนดรอยด์” รองรับการใช้งานบนโทรศัพท์มือถือ ที่ได้ทำการคิดค้นขึ้นมาให้ใช้งานกับการแจ้งเตือนข่าวสารของมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ท-เชียงใหม่โดยเฉพาะ
สำหรับกระบวนการทำงาน เมื่อทำการโหลดแอพพลิเคชั่นมาไว้ในเครื่องสมาร์ทโฟนแล้วทำการอินพุตเข้ามาใช้งานในระบบเชื่อมต่อกับอินเตอร์เน็ต โปรแกรมก็จะทำการติดต่อกับฐานข้อมูล ที่เก็บไวในเครื่องเซิรฟเวอร์ และทำการติดต่อกับโปรแกรม แอนดรอยด์ จากนั้นก็จะทำการแจ้งเตือนข่าวสารของมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ท-เชียงใหม่
