อนุสาวรีย์ครูบาศรีวิชัยตั้งอยู่ทางขึ้นดอยสุเทพ ก่อนถึงน้ำตกห้วยแก้ว ครูบาศรีวิชัยเป็นนักบุญแห่งล้านนาไทยผู้เป็นที่เคารพศรัทธาของชาวเชียงใหม่และประชาชนโดยทั่วไปผู้ที่ จะขึ้นไปดอยสุเทพมักจะแวะนมัสการอนุสาวรีย์ครูบาศรีวิชัยเพื่อความเป็นสวัสดิมงคล ครูบาศรีวิชัยเป็นผู้ริเริ่มชักชวนให้ประชาชนชาวเหนือร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันสร้างถนนจากเชิงดอยขึ้นไปสู่วัดพระบรม ธาตุดอยสุเทพ โดยเริ่มลงมือเมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2477 และแล้วเสร็จเมื่อปีพ.ศ. 2478 รวมระยะทาง 10 กิโลเมตร
