คณะอุตสาหกรรมและเทคโนโลยีได้จัดบุคลากรเป็น 2 สายงาน ได้แก่ สายวิชาการ และ สายสนับสนุน โดยมุ่งเน้นพัฒนากำลังคนทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ที่มีขีดความสามารถและทักษะปฏิบัติ รวมทั้งเน้นในการบริการทางวิชาการ ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยฯ กับกลุ่มธุรกิจภาคอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตและการบริการ โดยนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอน และการให้บริการวิชาการแก่สังคมและชุมชนอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
